The Order of the Arrow is Scouting’s National Honor Society. Founded in 1915, the OA has recognized Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives for over a century. Today, the service, activities, adventures, and training provided by the OA are models of quality leadership development and programming that enrich, support, and help extend Scouting to America’s youth.

The Section Council of Chiefs is the voting body of the section. It is comprised of the lodge chiefs from the two lodges in G19, as well as the section officers and the immediate past section chief. The Council of Chiefs, or COC, meets normally 4 times per year. The Meeting starts 6pm on Friday Hawaii Time and 1pm on Saturday Japan/Korea Time.

The Gateway Region Section Officers Seminar is an annual training event held within the Gateway Region. It’s a gathering of section-level leaders from the various sections within the region. The seminar focuses on leadership development, organizational strategy, communication, and collaboration skills to help these leaders better serve their sections.
